About the retreat
Although the word libido is most often associated with sexuality, at its core it is a life force – the passion that moves us, motivates us, and brings us alive. We can channel it into sexuality, relationships, creativity, embodiment, learning, work, spirituality… When libido has multiple pathways, life remains alive.

E. Kubler-Ross
“It is not the end of the physical body that should worry us. Rather, our concern must be to live while we’re alive – to release our inner selves from the spiritual death that comes with living behind a facade designed to conform to external definitions of who and what we are.”
E. Kubler-Ross

Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is designed for those who feel they are surviving from weekend to weekend instead of living all seven days of the week. For the tired, tense, frozen – as well as for those longing for more passion, presence, joy, pleasure, nourishing contact, and fertile solitude.
You are also welcome if you are curious about body psychotherapy and want to explore what this approach can offer.
You will experience and practice the principles of body and transpersonal psychotherapy through experiential exercises, dance and somatic work, group support, a little theory and plenty of practice.

A look inside
At the Return to Self retreat (2024), we took a deep breath and gave ourselves permission to experience real presence – in our bodies, in nature, with each other. These are glimpses of that journey – from our arrival on the island to our final group circle.
